Footloose, impulsive, optimistic, straightforward, musically inclined, and impatient.
As a child, my parents would bundle us up into a car and head off into the unknown. As a result, I’m passionate about a good adventure and always have itchy feet. I’m forever keen to explore some more of the world and share stories of off-the-beaten path travels. I’ve traveled to over 63 countries and can’t seem to stop planning my next adventure.
I love road trips through unusual places, preferably camping or staying with locals along the way. I’ve driven through Western Europe, Central Europe, the Balkans, the Caucasus, Turkey, Central Asia, Morocco and Cuba, and have no qualms about sitting in a car for long stretches of roads. I even enjoy planning itineraries, schedules, and routes.
While being Bangladeshi is my primary identity, I’ve spent a considerable part of my childhood in the U.S. of A. and I’m currently spending my adult life in Germany. Having lived in three different continents, I explore questions of identity and muse over cultural conundrums.
